Winter Colour Trends for Hair

My question is do I really need to worry about winter hair colour trends while I’m in lockdown and no one is going to see it anyways?

Well… yip, I do. And no, it’s not for the FB selfie. It’s for ME, for my confidence, so I feel better about myself. At the beginning of lockdown (not realizing I’d still be stuck in the house 3 months later) I kinda let it all go, but just a little.

But since I’ve had my hair done, I feel a whole lot better about myself… I’ve realized it’s the little things during these unusual times. Splash out and make yourself feel better 💜🌸

So, here’s a little insight into what’s HOT for winter.

Fire Red

Nothing heats up a room like sexy copper, red and golden locks, no matter what the temperature outside. It’s striking and will definitely get you the attention you deserve.

8.44 or 9.44 or 8.46

Curls of Chocolate and Deep Brown

Did I hear you say chocolate? Hell yeah ❤  

It’s warm, it’s decadent and this colour looks incredible on medium to thick hair. Try a dark brown with chocolate curls.

Purple and Blue

Need I say more… probably not ideal for that corporate job, but why not. It’s beautiful and looks perfect on shoulder length hair.

Pastel Pink

I love this look… it’s pretty and beautiful. It also involves a whole lot of bleach to get the colour just right. On blonde hair dependant on your undertone, it’s still going to need bleach to get the colour just right. Dark hair… yip you guessed it, bleach again. And it fades quite quickly.

Plum or Violet Undertones

This personally for me, is just my fav. And although mine isn’t plum I’ve gone with a violet undertone for this winter. Love Love Love!!!

It’s delicious, deep and sultry and works so well on long locks... AND it goes with most skin tones. Win win 😊

Black and Red (Ombre)

Bring out your inner temptress with this one. Be adventurous and try something different.

1 or 2 for the black roots and a 6.66 for the highlights

Ash Blonde

Ash Blonde with a touch of grey… YUM!
